MiSCDC Multidisciplinary Team
The MiSCDC program engages a variety of stakeholders to help identify priorities, assuring that the information collected and generated by MiSCDC remains useful. Our partners can then use the data to help improve policy, healthcare practices, and treatments for people with SCD.
Our multi-stakeholder collaborations have led to the formation of a multidisciplinary team. The mission of the MiSCDC multidisciplinary team is to:
Build and maintain relationships
Review MiSCDC data goals
Develop plans for utilization of MiSCDC findings
The MiSCDC Multidisciplinary Team has representatives from each of these areas of expertise:
People living with sickle cell disease
Families of people living with sickle cell disease
Community-Based Organizations
Public Health staff at MDHHS
Health information technology
Clinical care of children and adults with sickle cell diesease
Chronic disease data collection
The MDT is kept up to date with all things MiSCDC via biannual meetings and newsletters. To learn more and get connected contact us.
This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.
